Watch Taran’s 3 minute talk as part of the ‘Stand Up For Diversity: Defining Legacies’ event he was part of in October.

Hosted by Essex Cultural Diversity Project and Essex Book Festival this fascinating evening three-minute mini-talks was part of our SU4D series of events that puts a spotlight on why diversity matters. This particular event focused on diversity within museums, libraries, collections and archives.

In his three-minute mini-talk, 3D Artist Taran Singh talks about his work in museums, bringing Sikh artifacts to life using new technologies, and reclaiming his history through the world’s first Anglo Sikh Virtual Museum www.anglosikhmuseum.com

These online events have been designed to give individuals and businesses an understanding of how immersive technology can be applied to their work. As well as direct access to the events expert guest speakers.

The next event in the series is Storytelling in Virtual Reality and will take place on Wednesday 16th December 2020 6pm – 7.30pm.  Joining Taran for this insightful event is Andy Leeke, Senior Creative at Metro Boulot Dodo.

We’ve got another great event on the horizon in partnership with STEAMhouse_UK. 

VR BIRMINGHAM | DISCOVERING NEW EXPERIENCES takes place 25 November 6.00pm – 7.30pm and is a great opportunity for novice and experts alike to learn about the creative opportunities AR/VR technologies can bring.

An expert in 3D technolog your creative powerhouse Taran Singh will be a guest speaker at the event alongside artist Anna Nierobisz who is currently developing Sensosis an immersive VR experience inspired by the work of science fiction author Stanislaw Lem. 

Taran has more than 15 years’ experience researching & developing cutting edge immersive applications for a range of sectors. He heads up Taran3D’s innovative, passionate team, helping clients to bridge the gap between creativity and technical know-how to bring projects to life and engage their audiences.

A keen advocate of supporting people into the industry, Taran is thrilled to be involved with this event and help champion VR within our city and region.

Sikh Helmet Reimagined

We digitally recreated this intricate Sikh helmet as part of a selection of beautiful relics we reimagined for an online event with Royal Armouries.

This particular helmet was skilfully designed as part of the Anglo Sikh Virtual Museum project in collaboration with the Sikh Museum Initiative.

We’re thrilled to be part of the 2020 Indian Summer Festival.  This online celebration of South Asian arts & culture explores Indian culture, traditions & people through an exciting series of events including workshops, exhibitions, film and food and much more.

Join Taran3D and The Sikh Museum Initiative on Monday 17th August 6pm-7pm as we take you on a virtual journey to unlock the past and explore Sikh relics and artefacts, all digitally reimagined through our immersive technologies.

From the comfort of your own home, let Taran Singh and Gurinder Mann accompany you to delve into these cultural artefacts and learn how they travelled from the Punjab to public and private collections in the UK.

Hall Green Secondary Careers Fair

Taran3D attended the Hallgreen Secondary school Careers Fair yesterday. Answering questions about routes into emerging 3D and immersive technology industries. We discussed various roles from creative to technical development and we encouraged them to experiment and explore with freetools they can find online.
