We were honoured to recently support NAPAC (The National Association for People Abused in Childhood) with their advancements in using immersive technology for their support line staff.

NAPAC  is a wonderful charity that offers support to adult survivors of all types of childhood abuse. They realise that the damage caused by child abuse doesn’t always end in childhood and offer constant support to all adult survivors of childhood abuse in the UK.

We helped support NAPAC in their quest to help assist their support line staff with mindfulness activities through the use of immersive technology. This mindfulness approach was a response to the additional pressures brought by the pandemic added to quickly bring feelings of calm, focus, relaxation and inspiration to staff who engage with callers that report distressing adverse childhood experiences.

We used our technical expertise and cutting edge equipment to help the team gain a better understanding of immersive technology and in turn enjoy the benefits it can bring.

Taran3D Director Taran Singh said “It was an absolute pleasure to support NAPAC with this project. To work with such a wonderful organisation is always an enjoyable experience but to be part of an innovation programme of care for their team really was amazing. Thanks to all the team at NAPAC for letting us be part of this.”
