Innovate Yourself – 3D Printing
Since collaborating with the Nishkam Centre to create Handsworth Innovation Hub we are so proud of how far we’ve come and the audiences we have inspired.
Handsworth Innovation Hub is brought to you by Taran3D & The Nishkam Centre, a joint collaboration to bring tech & innovation to our local communities. Our combined core values of nurturing and supporting individuals to access excellence in tech helped us develop this initiative as a safe space for our community to educate and innovate themselves on all things tech.
It’s become very clear that many isolated and diverse communities aren’t getting the engagement and support they need to break into tech & innovation and we want to change this. Since its inception in April 2022, Handsworth Innovation Hub has helped to bridge the digital divide by bringing free, insightful, educational and welcoming events direct to the local community.
We have hosted a variety of inspiring events covering topics including cyber security, NFTs & blockchain, women in tech and gaming, successfully engaging and growing our audiences. Our next three events focus on 3D printing, programming and digital art & design and as always, there’ll be expert speakers offering advice and guidance on career opportunities as well as practical demonstrations.
Revathi Timms – Lean & Additive Manufacturing Enthusiast

She also delivers an inspiring TEDx talk to encourage the younger generation, especially females, to take up STEM subjects, and shares her exciting journey as Director of Avatar3D printing.
