We are so proud to announce that our very own Taran Singh has been included in this years Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech 2021 list.
This list showcases one hundred of the most inspirational Asian people working in Britain’s tech sector and we are absolutely thrilled that Taran has been included.
Taran’s rise as one of the Midlands leading 3D/XR agency owners is inspiring. Never classed as an ‘academic learner’ at school, he left with not much more than a huge thirst for tech and gaming. This passion and his eagerness to learn skills outside of a formal classroom setting led to an interest in 3D design and immersive tech that continued to grow over the years.
Fast forward 15 years and Taran is now a recognised name in the 3D/XR industry, recently joining HOST Salford on a consultancy basis as their Head of Skills for the UK’s first Unity Centre of Excellence. He also identified a gap in the market for XR training and launched Taran3D’s training division XR Academy in early 2021, securing substantial collaborations with forward-thinking organisations such as Niyo Enterprise who support young black women into tech.
For the Top 100 Asians in Tech List 2021, we are also really pleased to learn that for the first time ever, women have topped the list, accounting for 52% of shortlisted nominees. This is absolutely fantastic news and really encouraging for the future of our industry. As a business, Taran3D as a business is fully committed to bridging the digital divide to help make immersive tech accessible for all.
