Free Kanga 3D Model and Photoshop Tutorial

Still suprised at the lack of Panjabi 3D resources available so heres a traditional wooden Kanga (Hair Comb) 3D model for everyone to download and use. Turban Armour (Chand Tora)

Here is an ornament that was traditionally worn by sikh soldiers on their turbans meant for going into battle. The “Chand Tora” is a metal symbol consisting of a crescent and a double edged sword, it is held in place at the front of the turban by woven chainmail cord tied in a pattern within the turban to protect the head from slashing weapons.This particular design was inspired from an image that used to be on the original sarbloh.com website. I mixed it with a circular chakar shape with a bar down the centre that would be used to secure the armour to the turban using metal wire. Read More

Here is the papercraft Golden Temple I did a while back for a youth club arts and craft workshop. Feel free to download and print the pdf to do your own workshops. Instructions are on the video and you can usually take a class of about 15 children through it in an hour.

Well the site is back online and after a bit of time away, sorting things out, we are back and hopefully better and wiser. Always been a firm beleiver of – if you dont succeed at first, don’t give up, just keep trying.

This blog will be more generally 3D related and I hope to share some interesting 3D developments. Will start posting some of the older stuff and i have some new things I will be giving away for free.
